Industry-wide change is forcing manufacturers to enhance their capabilities, and speed is vital for reducing the uncertainties around responding to change. The theme for this year’s Explore customer conference is “The Speed of Business,” which is to be held May 6-9 in New Orleans. Key Attractions in New Orleans

We will start off the week with the Automotive Kickoff Session with Tom Roberts, QAD’s Vice President of Business Development, following Tuesday morning presentations from keynote speaker Bob Moesta and QAD executives. While QAD’s Chief Marketing Officer Carter Lloyds will lead a discussion on industry disruptors, Tom will discuss the latest trends in automotive as well as the impact of these disruptions in automotive manufacturing with respect to Anything as a Service (XaaS), Make-to-Order at Scale and Digital Transformation.

Raman Mehta, CIO, Visteon will discuss Visteon’s digital transformation journey in an industry undergoing major disruption. Learn how foundational infrastructure improvements such as global network transformation, service management modernization and cloud ERP with standardized processes are paving the way for innovations at Visteon. Raman will share his blueprint of how IT can successfully become an innovation partner by leveraging emerging trends such as AI and edge computing.

Lucian Manolache, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors will discuss implementing QAD Automation Solutions in two greenfield automotive plants in two different countries in Europe.

Customer Case Study: Adient’s Rapid QAD Automation Solutions Global Implementation
Lorenzo Simoncini, IT Vice President and Ramesh Akkala, IT Director at Adient will discuss how Adient implemented QAD Automation Solutions rapidly across several global sites. Adient and QAD will share their experience of building a global core model for QAD Automation Solutions and then successfully rolling it out globally.

QAD EE Cloud Deployment for Caterpillar Foundry in South Carolina
Henry Laprun, Enterprise Architect, QAD Application and Services, will discuss Caterpillar’s journey to implement QAD EE Cloud Channel Islands 2018 for the Caterpillar Foundry in Hodges, SC, including QAD QMS, QAD Automation Solutions, QAD Supplier Portal and machine (IoT) integration.
