This Week in Logistics News (October 16-20, 2017)

My trip to Chile this week in numbers:

34: the number of hours to travel there and back.

36: the number of hours I spent on the ground in Chile.

4: the total number of hours I spoke (in Spanish!) during my three presentations.

240+: the number of attendees at the Seminarium conference.

2: the number of chocolate ice cream cones I ate while in Chile.

I even participated in a Facebook Live interview following my keynote presentation:

Exhausting, yes, but also a great learning and networking opportunity. Kudos to the team at Seminarium for organizing a successful event, and to all of the attendees for their thoughtful questions and insightful commentary.

Since I just got back yesterday and I’m still not fully awake — and I have a week’s worth of emails and work to catch up on — I’ll share this week’s supply chain and logistics news, headlined by rockets and drones, without commentary.

Have a happy weekend!
