The United Kingdom has been one of the key links in EU supply chains for more than 40 years. BBC Newsnight has recently reported on how Brexit could break that chain and what the consequences could be for manufacturers. I like the video and have used it for my Supply Chain Risk Management course to discuss this topic with my students.

… I can confirm that is a topic worth having a look at … by the way within the last 12 month procurement and SC organizations had to deal with an unusual “density” of serious incidents: natural disasters e.g. typhoon/ earthquake in Asia, trade war USA vs. China, extremely tight markets e.g. for electronics and now a potential impact in 2019 that would be caused by a BREXIT w/o trade agreements.
