Supply Chain Planning

BOSTON (April 17, 2019) – ToolsGroup, a global leader in supply chain planning software, today shared it will exhibit and present at the American Supply Chain Summit 2019, taking place April 25-26 in Dallas.

The American Supply Chain Summit is a leadership focused meeting designed around improving supply chain and procurement strategies across the globe. This year’s Summit creates an opportunity to examine key case studies on how workforce management, advanced analytics, process improvement and automation are being rolled out in the world’s best facilities.

ToolsGroup is a sponsor of the event and will host a booth showcasing how its service-driven planning automation helps companies overcome volatile demand and inventory challenges, leading to outstanding customer service levels and reduced global inventory.

“Increasing complexity and risk are perhaps the greatest challenges facing supply chains today,” said Joseph Shamir, CEO, ToolsGroup. “The key to managing uncertainty and achieving high service levels is to better understand the probability of demand and what shapes it. Our customers consistently see service levels increase while inventory, cost, and waste go down.”

On April 25 at 11:50 a.m., Ron Ehrenberg, Inventory Optimization Lead for Lennox and Bobby Miller, Sr. Director of Customer Success for ToolsGroup, will present “Digital Transformation and the Service-Driven Supply Chain.” In this presentation, Ron and Bobby discuss how Lennox overcame the challenges of escalating SKU-locations, variable demand and expanding physical network for reduced distribution costs and increased inventory turns and sales. Ron and Bobby will also be at the ToolsGroup booth during the afternoon networking session to answer questions.
