Supply Chain News Makers Video Series:
Highlights of the 2017 DC Metrics Study

May 15, 2017

It's time again.

As usual, the annual WERC DC Measures Study results were released at the annual WERC conference two weeks ago in Ft. Worth.

Also as usual, the study was led by Dr. Karl Manrodt of Georgia College, assisted again this year by Dr. Donnie Williams, also of Georgia College, and Joe Tillman, who is the supply chain research lead for metrics organization APQC and also a WERC researcher.

Our Dan Gilmore took the easy pah this year, recording Manrodt leading his colleagues at the WERC event in a discussion of highlights from this year's survey results.

That includes a surprising change in the most commonly used distribution metric, how "strategic HR" is starting to impact logistics, and areas of focus for the 2018 study.

Look for SCDigest's review of the full published report in the next couple of weeks.

Please view this fast-paced and very interesting video discussion below.

Have a question for Manrodt and team on this topic? Send it Here and we will forward on for a personal response.
