A new definition for Integrated Business Planning

In my 2015 S&OP pulse check survey, I asked participants the following question: ‘ Do you believe there is a difference between S&OP and IBP?’ As I’m reviewing the results of this survey, I can give you a sneak peek and share that indeed most (47 percent) of the 120 survey participants believe there is a difference. Over 21 percent answered ‘don’t know’ and the remaining 32 percent believed there is no difference.
