Tive is thrilled to announce that we have been recognized by Gartner as one of the Real-Time Visibility Platforms Sample Vendors in the Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Execution Technologies, 2019 report. The report states, “Supply chain visibility is no longer a ‘nice to have’ for any organization, no matter the size, and now spans a multitude of vertical industries, use-case segments and geographies. When it comes to physical domestic transportation, customers are demanding more real-time visibility into in-transit shipments.”

Gartner notes, “the value of visibility increases when it is integrated with other applications, such as TMS, warehouse management system (WMS), order management, supply chain planning and ERP, where problems can be identified, diagnosed and resolved in a single environment.” In order to enable this level of integration, we believe that Tive has developed state-of-art capabilities to easily integrate into these systems, and we have already done so with multiple TMS platforms.

With the rise of the Amazon-affect customer expectations are higher than ever. Having access to real-time visibility is becoming the standard, and while these types of services were once only available in the final-mile space, it is now transitioning into all areas of the global supply chain. To provide true end-to-end visibility, Tive relies on proprietary rich-sensor data that deliver location and condition of shipments independent of carrier, mode of transportation, ELDs, telematics, and more.

Here at Tive, we believe solutions like ours provide countless benefits to all parties involved in the shipping and distribution process. These benefits range from providing value-added services to consumers, reduction in transit times by recognizing and optimizing shipping routes, analyzing of KPIs for various carries and lanes, and most importantly ensuring that shipments stay in pristine condition throughout the entire length of their journey.

When it comes to shipping time-sensitive, high value, or condition-sensitive items we know it is imperative to maintain visibility into exactly where shipments are, and what environmental conditions they are experiencing throughout the supply chain. To learn more about how real-time tracking can keep you in the loop, request a trial with Tive today.
