QAD Explore, Explore, justification, ace, Las Vegas

EXPLORE 2020 UPDATE: Over the past few months, we have seen increasing global disruption due to the impact of COVID-19. With our focus on the health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees, we have made the decision to cancel Explore 2020 in Las Vegas. At this time, we understand the needs of our customers to focus on their employees, customers and business. For more information, please visit explore.qad.com.

Did you know that the first video slot machines were developed by a Las Vegas-based company in 1976? The machines, which were later approved and commissioned all along the Las Vegas Strip, were first tested at the former Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, which is now The Westgate Hotel.

The Silver State of Nevada is full of great innovations and innovators, so it’s fitting that QAD’s premier customer conference will be hosted in the great city of Las Vegas. That said, May is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start planning your trip. And we have three easy “ace up your sleeve” steps to get you there!

Step 1: Review the Explore Agenda and Session Tracks

This year’s Explore agenda is chock-full of insightful sessions to help guide manufacturers on their digital transformation journey and enable them to adapt, innovate and change their business models in the face of rising change. Whether you’re new to Explore or an Explore regular, and with over 30 sessions and four hands-on training courses to choose from, there’s truly something for everyone. Oh, and keep in mind that ALL Explore breakout sessions qualify for APICS/ASCM certification maintenance credits!

Step 2: Justify Your Trip to Vegas

Okay, okay. We get it. It’s not always easy to convince your colleagues, let alone your manager, to attend a conference. Read why QAD customer CK Technologies attends Explore each and every year. Attending QAD Explore as a team enables you to share perspectives with each other and together reap all the benefits of a solid conference agenda.

Once you’ve had a chance to review the Explore sessions and hands-on training opportunities, download the Explore Justification Letter template. The purpose of this document is to make it easier for you to put together a proposal to your manager for going to Explore, and it can be fully customized to your liking.

Step 3: Register Early and Save

The final step is to remind your manager, or colleagues, that Explore Early Bird Registration is happening through March 27th. You can even use the $600 you’ll save to cover a hands-on training course! So, as a recap…review the agenda and session tracks, justify your trip with a pre-made justification letter and save on the overall cost by registering early. You just might find the “ace” you needed!
