NRF 2020 Vision: Retail’s Big Show

Dates: January 11 – 14, 2020 in New York, NY

This year’s NRF 2020 Vision conference serves as the leading voice for retail and is the only one that convenes a community of this size. NRF 2020 Vision: Retail’s Big Show serves as the headquarters for daytime programming during NRF Retail Week. Sponsored by the National Retail Federation, this conference boasts over 38,000 attendees, 400 speakers, and over 800 exhibitors and 175 sessions, all focused on innovation in retail.

RILA’s LINK: The Retail Supply Chain Conference

Dates: February 23 – 26, 2020 in Dallas, TX

RILA’s LINK conference focuses on giving retail supply chain executives a review of emerging technologies and opportunities through logistics service providers. This year’s conference will focus on the impacts of global supply chain risk management, end-to-end visibility and its benefits, and session leaders from AutoZone, Walmart, CMA-CGM, and many more.

MODEX 2020

Dates: March 9 – 12, 2020 in Atlanta, GA

Cost: FREE for All Registered Guests

MODEX stands apart as a true one-of-a-kind conference (unless you consider its sister-show ProMat, which will next be held in 2021). Nearly 1,000 exhibits and 150+ educational seminars cover every facet of supply chain management and innovation. Exhibitors include supply chain software and technology vendors, including transportation management and warehouse management to name a few, and for those new to the space, especially retailers, the conference is a great networking opportunity. MODEX and ProMat are both run by MHI and are held in alternating years.

Shoptalk 2020

Dates: March 22 – 25, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV

Cost: $3,650 – $4,500 with Option for Free Tickets and $750 Travel Stipend

Shoptalk is where 8,000+ retail changemakers come together every year to create the future of retail. Shoptalk will celebrate 5 years of bringing established retailers and brands together with direct-to-consumer and tech startups, large tech and Internet companies, venture capital investors, real estate developers, equity analysts, media, and others.

The show will feature over 210 world-class speakers at the event with women making up 100% of these speakers! They asked that any of the male speakers replace themselves with a female representative as a way to highlight the amazing work women are doing in retail. In 2021, Shoptalk plans on making the speakers 50% male and 50% female.

Reuters Events Retail Supply Chain USA 2020

Dates: April 22 – 23, 2020 in New York, NY

Cost: $1799

This conference brings together some of the biggest retail brands in the industry, including Foot Locker, Etsy, Target, and more. Participants gain deep insights into retail supply chain strategies, the latest trends in logistics partnerships, the demand for a flexible, adaptable transportation network, how analytics are changing, and even what supply chain leaders can do today to be more successful.

Gartner hosts this conference to help supply chain leaders gain the skills to navigate the complex world of supply chain analytics and new technology. Leaders get the opportunity to interact with peers to discuss best practices and opportunities or weaknesses felt over the past year. Gartner has revamped this conference, changing the name to Symposium | Xpo, expanding the agenda and hailing this year’s as the biggest one yet.

HighJump Elevate
