Girl Scouts of Southeast Michigan hosted their annual Cookie Gala on April 19th 2017 at the MGM Grand Hotel Ballroom. Attendees enjoyed the evening bidding on auction prizes and tasting delicious Girl Scout Cookie desserts created by local Detroit chefs. All proceeds from the event went towards leadership development and STEM programs provided by Girl Scouts.
Evans Distribution Systems has been a partner to the Southeast Michigan Council for the past few years by shipping the awards and mailing materials to the troops. Due this close relationship, Evans has sponsored and attended the Cookie Gala for the past three consecutive years. This year’s event was attended by John Evans, Leslie Delekta, Shawn Wright, Marcella Suarez and Luis Lomeli. The group had a great time supporting an organization that helps young girls grow as leaders and individuals.
