Source to Store Supply Chain Transparency

Transparency-One expands source to store supply chain transparency software with risk management solutions to help businesses manage social responsibility, product safety, and sustainability risks across multiple product categories.

Transparency-One, the source to store supply chain transparency solution, has announced the key features for its latest product release.

“Supply chains have become extremely complex and globally-dispersed.”

“Coupled with increased consumer concerns about health, sustainability, and social responsibility, it has become mandatory for businesses to improve supply chain visibility to build consumer trust,” said Chris Morrison, Chief Executive Officer.

“Transparency-One helps by mapping the entire supply chain, tracking compliance, and providing supply chain analytics so businesses can proactively manage risks.”

Expanded consumer products category coverage
Today, Transparency-One's supply chain risk management solution covers a full range of consumer product categories including food, apparel, and footwear, with plans to expand in the future.

“The fact is, all industries are impacted by the need for greater transparency”Frédéric Daniel, Transparency-One, Chief Technology Officer

“The fact is, all industries are impacted by the need for greater transparency,” said Frédéric Daniel, Chief Technology Officer.

“Regardless of category, our platform is used in the same way, ensuring that supply chains across multiple verticals can achieve full transparency.”

Source to store compliance management
The supply chain transparency software supports both facility and product certifications. Businesses can manage supply chains on over 100 certifications, making it possible to quickly identify non-compliant suppliers, facilities, or products to reduce safety risks from source to store.

Supply chain mapping and traceability in tandem
Transparency-One maps the entire supply chain and collects sufficient data to ensure compliance and identify potential risks, while minimizing business partner data entry effort.

However, for critical commodities or products, further data may be needed.

Transparency-One and fTRACE have developed an API to support integration of batch traceability information to combine both sources of data for complete supply chain risk management.

Transparency-One has partnered with fTRACE to provide a comprehensive solution in the area of transparency and batch-level traceability.

The global language of business
Mapping supply chains in a globalized era requires a shared language to easily identify products, categories, and facilities across organizations.

Transparency-One's multilingual solution supports GS1's GTIN, GPC, and GLN standards, meaning that a US retailer, a Mexican cooperative, and a Chinese manufacturer can all use the same platform to collaborate and interpret their partners' data - in their preferred language.

Evaluate risk in seconds
During a crisis, businesses need to quickly identify which of their products are connected to suppliers adversely affected by natural disasters, negative press, or product safety incidents.

However, the traditional method involves cascading information from supplier to supplier - often through emails and spreadsheets - which can take days, if not weeks.

Transparency-One's risk management solution enables businesses to search commodities, countries, suppliers, and more to instantly determine which of their finished and purchased products have been impacted by a crisis.
