NeoGrid, a global technology provider of end-to-end supply chain management solutions, has announced that chief operating officer Gilson Torii will co-present a session at the 2017 Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference scheduled for 22-25 May in Phoenix, Arizona.

Tom Racette, vice president, Global Retail Development at Mojix, an innovator in fixed infrastructure sensor networks, will co-present with Torii. The session, titled, "Supply Chains of the Future: Smarter Supply Throughout the Chain," will explore the benefits of current, and future, supply chain innovations.

While mainstream adoption may be years ahead, NeoGrid and Mojix have developed a refreshing perspective on how new technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain, can help companies develop a smarter supply chain. Session attendees will learn practical implementations and best practices based on real-world examples that can directly impact the success of their business.

Gilson Torii, COO, NeoGrid North America, said, "Today's consumer is more connected than ever. They are more informed, smarter and less loyal to brands. Therefore, the supply chain needs to be more connected to the end consumer and have the flexibility to respond fast to consumer trends. Using innovative technology to gain insight into these trends will have a direct impact on the bottom line."
