Yellow Transportation was founded in 1924 by A.J. purchased Roadway in 2003. Yellow Transportation and Roadway formally merged to create YRC Worldwide in 2009. YRC Freight’s service area includes the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
