Une start-up suisse spécialisée dans la logistique de transport lève 1,35 million de francs

Arviem, une start-up zougoise spécialisée dans les services de monitoring pour le transport cargo a bouclé un tour d’investissement d’1,35 million. Parmi les investisseurs, l’on retrouve Swisscom Venture et la ZKB.
Pour poursuivre son développement, la start-up de Baar Arviem, spécialiste du monitoring de transport de marchandise en temps réel, a levé 1,35 million de francs suisses, annonce le site spécialisé Startupticker.ch. Elle a fait appel à la plateforme d’investissement destinée aux start-up Investiere pour mener son tour. La moitié des fonds a été levée auprès de business angels privés issus de la communauté Investiere. L’autre est promise par Swisscom Ventures et la banque cantonale zurichoise. Investiere a même dû refuser des investisseurs, et s’est basé sur leur philosophie pour trier les candidats: «Notre politique veut que les start-ups aient accès aux meilleurs investisseurs, par forcément les plus riches», explique Steffen Wagner, co-fondateur de la plateforme, cité par Startupticker.ch.
Cette injection d’argent frais devrait permettre à Arviem de réaliser un chiffre d’affaire positif cette année et d’investir dans l’analyse de données, son cœur de métier. «Nous allons également élargir notre offre de prestations avec nos logiciels de monitoring, et nous renforcer dans la vente», explique à notre rédaction Stefan Reidy, CEO.

La start-up compte déjà parmi ses clients Nestlé et Baccardi. «Nous existons depuis 2008, et nous nous sommes toujours financés nous-mêmes jusqu’à présent. Nous arrivons à un point où il nous faut grandir, et nous avions besoin d’argent», poursuit le CEO.
La solution d’Arviem, qui compte six employés et une vingtaine de personnes «outsourcées», offre un service de monitoring de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, qui permet de recevoir en temps réel des données et analyses sur leurs chargements, facilitant la prise de décision et réduisant les coûts.
