Severe weather causes freight rates to slip

Overall, van volumes are not in bad shape, and are actually slightly ahead of March 2018. Denver to Albuquerque, NM increased to $2.07/mi. mile, down 2¢ Reefer: $2.19/mile, mile, down 2¢ Flatbed: $2.34/mile, mile, same as last week. VAN TRENDS. But the momentum has dissipated. Seattle to Salt Lake City moved up to $1.90/mi.

The lane from Denver to Albuquerque is still one of your best bets for getting out of Colorado, but that lane lost 15¢ last week at $1.88/mile.
