In the height of the e-commerce craze, the marketplace offerings started with a focus on e-procurement. The widely-held view was that the e-procurement market would fuel the next generation of marketplace applications. The rebirth of marketplace offerings is not on the back of e-procurement or ERP. I have never been in Africa.
