Only two major van lanes were up more than 6¢ Buffalo to Chicago rose the most, up 30¢ to an average of $2.32/mile FALLING LANES. Chicago to Buffalo lost 26¢ to $3.30/mile.

With the exception of Memphis , the biggest declines in spot market rates were in the Southeast and out West. Denver to Albuquerque, NM, rates dropped 43¢ to $2.49/mile. In other words, the seasonal decline in spot market prices is moving at a far slower rate than the increase that followed the ELD mandate.

The top 4 were the same as last week – Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston and Dallas – but Indianapolis edged out Memphis for the no. Denver to Albuquerque rose 10¢ for an average of 1.76/mile.
