ToolsGroup welcomes Jon Purdy as Chief Financial Officer and Joseph Luciano as Chief People Officer
BOSTON — August 4, 2022 — ToolsGroup, a global leader in AI-driven retail and supply chain planning and optimization software, announces it has appointed Jon Purdy as Chief Financial Officer and Joseph Luciano as Chief People Officer. These strategic executive hires support rapid company growth, better collaboration, goal clarity, and ongoing improvement in key business metrics while keeping ToolsGroup’s expanding team agile and highly coordinated:
Jon Purdy is the new Chief Financial Officer. The former CFO, Roberto Miani, reports to Jon as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategic Financial Initiatives.
As the CFO, Jon is responsible for financial operations and risk management. His focus is on collaborating across the organization to develop strategic business direction and building scalable systems, processes, and financial controls to support operations, growth, and increased shareholder value. Jon has over 25 years of corporate finance, operations, and executive management experience in the technology industry. He has worked with companies of all sizes, including well-known global technology firms such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Fiserv. Jon has successfully helped organizations develop growth and margin improvement strategies across a wide range of product and service offerings to include software as a service, hosting, managed services, and hardware.
Joseph Luciano is the new Chief People Officer. The former head of human resources reports to Joseph as the ToolsGroup team is scaled to drive growth and innovation.
Joseph brings extensive international human resource experience with assignments in London, Singapore, and Tokyo and most recently served as Global Leader of Organizational Effectiveness with a global supply chain software company. In the Chief People Officer role, Joseph will set strategy and manage execution for such key elements as recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and talent management.
