Volansi says this is the first time ever that an autonomous drone has carried out such missions, carrying cargo between two moving US government vessels.

Amazon has made a string of startup acquisitions over the years to build out its robotics business; now, the company is taking an interesting turn in that strategy as it expands its industrial warehouse capabilities. In April of 2005, just a month after completing my first half marathon (and vowing I would never run a full marathon in my life), I went to the finish line at the Boston Marathon and saw Team Hoyt for the first time. Team Hoyt became a fixture at the Boston Marathon, completing the race 32 times, while running another 40 marathons as well.
