The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a major global hub of manufacturing and trade, as well as one of the fastest-growing markets in the world with a consumer base of more than 600 million, an expanding labor force and a soaring E-commerce industry. Conversely, the much smaller economies of ASEAN – Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar – are still substantially lagging behind.
