Medical supply shortages are being reported across the U.S. Tariffs were placed on medical supplies from China in 2018 and only lifted in March of this year because of the pandemic. This is certainly welcomed news, however, according to an AP article , the Chinese government has required makers of N95 masks to sell all or part of their production internally instead of shipping masks to the U.S.
