QAD Adaptive ERP 2022 Highlights

For QAD Adaptive ERP and QAD Adaptive Applications, the latest enhancements putting manufacturers on the path to becoming Adaptive Manufacturing Enterprises include:

Effective Enterprise Management

From integrated multi-currency, multi-GAAP and multi-entity financials to best practice purchasing, and from shared services to real-time data and flexible data analytics, QAD’s Effective Enterprise Management capabilities ensure that manufacturers operate from a trusted set of essential enterprise processes that meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs. Enhancements include:

  • QAD Financials boosts the user experience for QAD Self-Billing by enhancing the user productivity for non-EDI invoice collection and shipments reconciliation. As a result, QAD customers will improve efficiency in the areas of industry and tax compliance and accounts receivable reconciliation.

Complete Customer Management

QAD’s Complete Customer Management capabilities deliver an outstanding customer experience that builds a company’s brand and helps acquire and retain customers with the least effort and expense.

  • With the recent acquisition of WebJaguar, customers can now access additional Digital Commerce capabilities. Benefits of QAD WebJaguar Digital Commerce include reduced order processing costs, improved order accuracy, better customer retention, punch-out and marketplace integrations, distributor enablement and other capabilities designed to enable B2B and B2C online sales.

Digital Manufacturing

QAD’s Digital Manufacturing capabilities allow manufacturers to leverage digital and advanced technologies to better communicate, analyze and use real-time information to meet cost and quality objectives. In this area, enhancements include:

  • Serialization extends QAD’s current track and trace capabilities, end-to-end from inbound receiving, to production and outbound shipping. This enables companies to increase material handling efficiencies, improve inventory accuracy and visibility, enhance OTIF ratings, address regulatory/industrial specific compliance requirements and combat counterfeit products.
  • QAD EQMS (Enterprise Quality Management System) has significantly improved the user experience, providing more clarity, efficiency and control. Most notably, we added the ability to navigate through product and process risks (FMEA) using a treeview to allow faster searching and navigation without losing context. QAD customers can better support their training management needs based on titles, training roles, skills and other parameters. With companies seeing more workforce shortages and absenteeism, it is now easier to identify training gaps and employees with the best training fit to fill in for an unexpected absence at the site level. Benefits include improved user satisfaction/adoption, more discrete security control, reduced effort and increased visibility to manage workforce competencies.

Integrated Supplier Management

QAD’s Integrated Supplier Management capabilities create value for manufacturers by improving supplier collaboration and supply chain visibility, allowing for faster response to changes in supply and demand.

  • QAD SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) provides manufacturers and their suppliers the ability to facilitate real-time communication, improve procurement processes and reduce inbound supply risks. Enhancements in this release include:
    • New mapping functionality for copying supplier classifications to quote sheets in RFQs resulting in better supplier comparisons during the sourcing awarding process.
    • Now has a single and seamless sign-on experience for suppliers to access QAD Supplier Management, QAD Sourcing, QAD Auctions, QAD Demand and Delivery and the supplier functions of QAD EQMS.
    • Additional eSignature capabilities now apply to more supplier documents. Signatures can be applied by one or more persons and a workflow will collect the signed document and import it back to QAD SRM upon completion.
    • Contracts are now included in QAD SRM’s deletion concept, allowing for the automatic purging of expired contracts after a defined timeframe.
