Sacramento to Denver came crashing, down 37¢ to an average of $2.05/mile Miami is the top market for reefer load posts on DAT Load Boards right now. Lakeland in Central Florida is number 3.

A lot of that produce originates in the Tifton and Macon markets in Southern Georgia, and is distributed out of Atlanta. A handful of individual lanes saw big rate increases: Sacramento to Denver added 30¢ per mile, to $2.49. Dallas to Columbus got a 37¢ boost, to $2.50. mark, at $4.03 per mile.

Late harvests are beginning the journey to your Thanksgiving table, via food processing plants and distribution centers. Outbound rates increased in key California markets, including Sacramento, where rates rose 14¢ last week, to an average of $2.20 Other Hot Markets include Albuquerque, Grand Rapids and Little Rock.
