Truckers Get a Raise in July

Rates typically drop after July 4th, but that wasn’t the case last week, when national average rates rose 8¢ per mile for vans and 5¢ for reefers. Rates dropped back a bit this week, but they're still higher than they were in June. It’s nice to finally get a raise! Darker states represent have higher load-to-truck ratios, meaning that those states have higher demand for trucks.
