USB-C cable

Media cable
As mentioned above, media cable is another major type of cables.
There are fewer categories of them: VGA cable, DVI cable, HDMI cable and DP (DisplayPort) cable. The four shortenings are all media interfaces rolled out in turn.
Among these four types of cables, VGA cable delivers analog signal (will encounter distortion) while the other three deliver digit signal; and DVI cable deliver only video signal while the others deliver both video and audio signals.
The media quality that these types of cables can provide increased gradually, so do their prices. On high-end devices, two or more female jack of these cables often show together. Another solution of female jacks is using a USB-C jack and a dock, then the device itself can have a better integrity.
One more thing you have to know about HDMI is there’s a copyright cost for HDMI manufacturer. It’s 10000 dollars per year plus fee on every single product.
