Software firm Softeon is out with a new report on user perceptions on a wide range of distribution center technologies.
It is quite good.
Along with the report came the infographic below, which contains some interesting data points:

As can be seen, the survey found to no one's surprise that the top goal of responents was reducing operating costs, with an average scorer of 6.1 on a scale of 1 to 7, with 7 being the highest.
Labor force management came in at number 2.
The graphic also shows only a small percentage of respondents (12.1%) were satisfied with their levels of DC automation, while companies rate their Warehouse Management capabilties in more advanced areas relatively.
