Unilever has constructed a new ice-cream factory in Turkey which, in terms of sustainability, serves as an example for all 35 of its production facilities around the world. One example of this is Disney’s proposed idea to relocate production of some of its Infinity figures to Turkey to shorten and improve the flexibility of its supply chains.

I had the opportunity to work in Turkey, Egypt and in Venezuela. Finland, for example, has policy requirements concerning embodied carbon, and this is happening in Canada too. The energy business presented the best opportunities so that is where I headed after school. I then decided to go back to school.
