“I have had the pleasure of working with Erol Beynam for approximately 11 years from August 1996 to September 2007. Erol originally joined Stanley Associates as a software engineer. He quickly established himself as a self-starting, highly-capable engineer who could be trusted to handle the most challenging problems. Erol worked well with others and often came up with innovative solutions to problems. Erol's positive attitude and ability to take responsibility resulted in his promotions to Technical Lead. As Technical Lead on a key project with the USMC, Erol maintained high standards of system reliability and technical quality. He provided effective leadership to the technical team and also acted as the Assistant Program Manager on the project. In addition to his outstanding contributions to this project, Erol made himself available on another project that was at risk. His technical abilities and work ethic (requiring many uncompensated overtime hours) directly contributed to the project's eventual success. Erol subsequently was promoted from Technical Lead to Program Manager on his USMC project, where he served with distinction. Erol met all project deliverables on time and established excellent relations with the customer. Erol's proven track record made him a natural choice to be bid as the Program Manager for a new project with a new customer. Erol directly contributed to the proposal writing efforts which resulted in a win for Stanley Associates. Ultimately, the customer for this project changed delivery and acceptance requirements about halfway through the project and then continued to "move the bar" as each new requirement was met. Nonetheless, Erol established a stringent configuration management process that enabled Stanley to eventually deliver a product that met requirements. This would not have been possible without Erol's professionalism, work ethic and technical capabilities. In conclusion, I give Erol my strongest recommendation and would be pleased to have the opportunity to work with him again in the future. He will be an asset to any company.”
