Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Joliet, IL , were all in the top 10 for load posts on DAT Load Boards last week. Chicago to Minneapolis dropped 18¢ to $1.93/mile, Minneapolis to Chicago rates were up to $2.01/mile. Rates on the lane from Columbus to Buffalo rose 27¢ and paid $2.76/mile mile on average.

Memphis to Indianapolis was more typical of retail lanes last week, falling 20¢ to $1.90/mile. The highest outbound average last week was Green Bay , but the lane to Minneapolis dropped 49¢ to $2.27/mile With the shift of activity from the South to the Midwest, we saw some seasonal declines on lanes out of Atlanta.
