You need a monthly review of ‘where we are with respect to the plan’, ‘which are the gaps’, ‘how we want to address them’ and ‘what will be the impact on marketing, sales, operations and the inventory’. Your final SiOP plan is typically the result of evaluating possible alternatives on service, cost and inventory.
