Enhancements include:

  • A brand new analytics front-end that uplifts our analytics solution with more visualization options, new chart types and full end-user control to improve decision-making. Action Centers can now be built quicker so users save time.
  • QAD Financials boosts the user experience by adding new Revenue Recognition options and a new reporting groups field which allows users to create quick action centers with no need for configuring the complete Financial Report Writer.
  • It is important to highlight QAD Internationalization as we continuously add new packages that address legal requirements or business practice variations around the world. Updates in the past few months address new requirements for Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Norway, Thailand and other global regions.

Complete Customer Management

Complete Customer Management delivers an outstanding customer experience that builds a company’s brand and helps acquire and retain customers with the least effort and expense.

  • With our acquisition of WebJaguar, integration efforts continue and early adopter customers can now access additional Digital Commerce capabilities. Benefits of QAD Digital Commerce include reduced order processing costs, improved order accuracy, better customer retention, punch-out and marketplace integrations, distributor enablement and other capabilities designed to enable B2B and B2C online sales.
  • CRM for Manufacturers is now generally available allowing companies to improve customer satisfaction with complete control of customer lifecycle including lead, opportunity, campaign and account management.

Digital Manufacturing

Digital Manufacturing allows manufacturers to leverage digital and advanced technologies to better communicate, analyze and use real-time information to meet cost and quality objectives. In this area, enhancements include:

  • Serialization extends QAD’s current track and trace capabilities. With the September 2022.1 release, users have visibility of the end-to-end production flow for both serialization and item attributes.
  • QAD Production Execution streamlines planning and shop floor communication while also improving the coordinated management of material, labor and equipment. It provides the production insights needed to rapidly respond to unplanned inventory shortages, equipment failures and productivity slowdowns.
  • QAD EQMS (Enterprise Quality Management System) has streamlined the complaint and adverse event process to enhance efficiency in this area. For life sciences companies, EQMS addresses all USDM recommendations to meet regulatory requirements. For automotive clients, QAD now supports the US/German FMEA-MSR standards. Note that QAD has consistently included family and foundational FMEA within EQMS since the early 2000s, which includes meeting the latest updated Ford Motor Company Customer-Specific Requirements for IATF 16949:2016.
  • EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) enhances user efficiency with faster and easier ways to locate records based upon specific technical characteristics. The Gantt Chart scheduler also improves efficiency with easy drag and drop capabilities for scheduling and assignment of work by crew.

Integrated Supplier Management

Integrated Supplier Management creates value for manufacturers by improving supplier collaboration and supply chain visibility allowing for faster response to changes in supply and demand. New enhancements are comprised of the following:

  • QAD SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) provides manufacturers and their suppliers a single point of entry to facilitate real-time communication, improve procurement processes and reduce inbound supply risks. With this release, QAD adds the ability to readily capture supplier risk information from trusted sources to better address sustainability goals and risk mitigation objectives.
  • Sourcing boosts efficiency by adding the ability to start a sourcing request in QAD Adaptive ERP, manage the sourcing process in Sourcing and upon award of the business, pass the pricing agreement back to QAD Adaptive ERP.

Connected Supply Chain

Connected Supply Chain helps manufacturers effectively collaborate with supply chain partners and address the challenges associated with managing complex and ever-changing global supply chains. Enhancements include:

  • QAD Digital Supply Chain Planning (DSCP) now offers an advanced planner experience. This is achieved with intuitive homepages that deliver process status updates, real-time exceptions and alerts and insightful analytics to improve decision-making. DSCP has also reduced the time to value with enhanced configuration capabilities to speed up deployment.
  • QAD Global Trade & Transportation Execution (GTTE) adds a new supplier wizard to boost efficiency when setting up carriers and new shipping reports are available to bolster visibility and improve decision-making.
