Stord Wins Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2019 Pacesetter Award, Ranks 13th on Atlanta’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies List

ATLANTA, May 1, 2019 -- STORD®, the pioneer of Networked Distribution, next-generation warehousing and distribution for modern shippers, today announced its 13th rank on Atlanta Business Chronicle’s famed Pacesetter Award list of the top 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in Atlanta. Companies are ranked by a growth-index formula based on revenue and workforce growth. The Pacesetter Award rankings were revealed in a ceremony on April 25, 2019 at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Ga.

“STORD has set out to radically improve upon some of the biggest challenges in warehousing and distribution,” said Sean Henry, founder and CEO, STORD. “Our 9.47x growth over the last year, coupled with series A and recent recognition like the Pacesetter Award rank as one of the top fastest-growing companies in Atlanta, drive our team to continue to transform how goods are moved across the globe.”

In addition to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Award, STORD was recently honored by Atlanta Inno as a 50 on Fire Company. Earlier in 2019, the company was named a Top 10 Innovative Company by the Technology Association of Georgia, and named to the Transmetrics “Logistics of the Future: Best Warehousing Startups” list.

“We’ve experienced a significant year of growth for STORD,” said Jacob Boudreau, co-founder and CTO, STORD. “The week following our $12.3M series A funding announcement, Sean and I were honored to celebrate our growth among Atlanta’s fastest-growing companies. Thank you to the Atlanta Business Chronicle for consistently recognizing growth and innovation, and bringing attention to creative solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.”

Recently, STORD CEO Sean Henry appeared on the Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s list of Pros to Know for 2019, as well as the Food Logistics Rock Stars of the Supply Chain list.
