Deliverr, a startup that helps merchants fulfill two-day and same-day orders on platforms like Amazon, eBay and Shopify, has raised $23 million in new funding, bringing its total to $30 million as it looks to hire new staff and expand its network of third-party logistics partners.

The company said it will also use the funding to launch new fast-shipping programs across major sales channels and build out its core features. It’s one of a raft of tech startups helping to enable faster and faster ecommerce fulfillment.

At the same time, Deliverr announced the expansion of its Shopify program, offering two-day shipping across the U.S. and next-day delivery to one-quarter of the U.S., according to the Wall Street Journal. Sellers can get dynamic badging on Shopify product listings, showing shoppers an urgency-inducing countdown clock until two-day shipping expires.

Shopify itself just announced the launch of its fulfillment network in June, going after Amazon by offering two-day shipping through 3PLs and other fulfillment partners.

Deliverr’s technology intelligently distributes inventory across multiple locations, helping buyers to see that orders are eligible for faster shipping times across ecommerce marketplaces, increasing conversion rates. Merchants can also take advantage of discounted carrier rates via Deliverr as they send their shipments in to a Deliverr partner.
