In a prior Supply Chain Matters blog commentary published on Monday of this week , we highlighted that commercial aircraft fuselage, structural component, and engine pylon supplier Spirit AeroSystems has reached a tentative agreement in labor contract renewal talks with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). Spirit , which was spun off from Boeing in 2005, is a key supplier to both major aircraft manufacturers, Boeing , and Airbus.
