Kirsten grew up outside of Chicago and has lived in the Portland, Maine area for the last 24 years. That became my strategy to get my next job at L.L.Bean when my husband and I moved to Maine – join as a consultant and then get hired by L.L.Bean full-time. They were also pursuing IT degrees in their spare time.
