The ATA has a National Private Truck Council that allows for benchmarking on driver turnover. In the last benchmark, truckload carriers with more than $30 million in annual revenue averaged 90% driver turnover. This means moving the cargo twice as far and twice as fast. Higher pay may be exacerbating the problem.
