Walmart said its suppliers have removed 1 billion metric tons of greenhouse-gas emissions from their value chains, six years ahead of the target date. Another option is the consignee, meaning “the ultimate recipient of cargo; the person to whom final delivery of the cargo is to be made.” Relatively few had college degrees.
