The newly announced tariffs join steel and aluminum tariffs, a 25% tariff on all automotive imports, and a 25% tariff on any country that purchases oil from Venezuela already in effect though only the Venezuelan tariff will be stacked on top of global or reciprocal tariffs. If things do play out this way, the freight market will suffer too.
