In Florida, a statewide suspension of road tolls was issued to ease the flow of mandatory evacuations (like the one ordered for the Florida Keys) and the transportation of essential relief goods. Puerto Rico also issued evacuation orders for flood-prone areas, as did authorities in eight coastal provinces in the Dominican Republic.
