Mr. Wegkamp explained that in the Netherlands, as in many places, railways have traditionally been the most sustainable form of transportation… until now. The next goal is to become a “carbon balanced” company by 2020, and sustainable sourcing of raw materials is their key area of opportunity for carbon reduction.
