One of the latest ways CPG manufacturers have opted to interact with consumers is with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). For example, journalist Shawn Lim ( @mediumshawn ) reports, “Unilever’s oral care brand Closeup has created a non-fungible token marriage certificate that recognizes all couples in a relationship in the metaverse.”[1]
