Spirit , which was spun off from Boeing in 2005, is a key supplier to both major aircraft manufacturers, Boeing and Airbus. Two weeks ago, a tentative agreement was reached among the bargaining parties, but a reported 79 percent of labor union workers voted to reject the settlement, and instead voted to strike.
