This is a full five years ahead of the original target of 2030. A pair of tech providers within the warehouse automation space, Louisville, Kentucky-based MHS Global and Atlanta-based Fortna , are combining to form a new multinational logistics provider, the companies announced this week.

I did not understand warehousing and transportation until reassignment to a logistics role in 1985. In the traditional supply chain world, the processes of sell, deliver, make, source, and plan are separate and distinct.
