Old Dominion is based in Thomasville, North Carolina. Old Dominion also provide ocean freight service including full container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) service offerings. After Earl Congdon died, Lillian Congdon assumed the presidency and was joined by sons Earl Jr. The company went public in 1991.
