The West Coast continued to drive spot market demand last week. On the other end of the supply chain, Atlanta volumes also rose 13% and rates are stabilizing in that market. The load-to-truck ratio is a sensitive, real-time indicator of the balance between demand and capacity. Los Angeles to Denver also increased 14¢ to $3.21/mile.
