Whilst I am Australian born, I was fortunate to have had an educational background spanning 3 continents, Australia, Thailand/Singapore and Denmark. Starting out as a Marketing Intern in Adelaide, Australia for a Fielders Steel Roofing, my international studies lead to an opportunity to work in Singapore in 2005. Scott Phillips.

Historically, people who know this industry know that it was very much “gut based”, where you would just make a few calls and then set the freight rates. There was a saying back then in Denmark, “You never never had to leave Maersk.” So manufacturing cannot be different from supply chain. I don’t know what else you need.
