October Flatbed Rates Were Highest of the Year

Volumes were up and down over the course of the month, though, as markets adjusted to constantly changing demand. Flatbed rates were down out of a handful of Sunbelt markets: Atlanta, Savannah, Fort Worth, and Phoenix. Houston prices have mostly been neutral, but the lane to Wichita, KS , fell to just $1.77/mile.
