In Florida, a statewide suspension of road tolls was issued to ease the flow of mandatory evacuations (like the one ordered for the Florida Keys) and the transportation of essential relief goods. Six islands in the Bahamas were ordered to evacuate to Nassau, while a state of emergency was also declared in the US Virgin Islands.
