The EU, Japan, China, and other major economies worldwide have announced aggressive plans to tackle climate change by pushing automakers to lower and eventually eliminate their vehicles’ emissions. South Korea and Japan will require ZEVs to represent 30% of vehicle sales by 2030, and China is mandating a 50% ZEV market by 2035.
