The Texas Triangle refers to an area of Texas that is roughly bordered by Dallas, Houston and San Antonio / Austin (when you are Texas you get to call 4 points a triangle). Texas is the second largest state in terms of land mass with only Alaska being larger, yet most of the population is already living in the Texas Triangle.

Hurricane Harvey has been wreaking havoc in the state of Texas since Friday, August 25th, crippling most of the state, and specifically devastating Houston. Houston shipping channels and ports at Corpus Christi and Galveston have been shut down. 33 counties in Texas are under federal disaster declaration.
